Paid Family Leave Act

Family leave image
A mandated payroll deduction directly from employee wages, equivalent to the cost of an almost 20% increase in the state personal income tax and requires that employers offer up to 20 weeks of leave. Eligible workers could earn up to 90 percent of their income for up to 20 weeks while they recover from an illness, care for a new child, or nurse a sick family member.
SAY NO to mandatory paid family leave in Pennsylvania. Employers should be free to set leave policies that balance the interest of employees and the sustainability of the business as a whole. Keep the Government out of your business’s leave policies.
