Main St Certainty Act

This Bills aims to make Qualified Business Income (QBI) deduction(20% deduction for pass-through) permanent. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) of 2017 was signed by President Trump but expires December 31, 2025. This tax relief helped many small businesses through the covid economic downturn and continues to give small businesses tax relief.
GoBigSmallBiz supports HR4721 which makes the tax deduction permanent. This is an essential tax benefit for small businesses not only through covid economic down turns but to combat today’s inflation and financial strain. If the TCJA is allowed to expire it could stifle growth and job creation.
