The Bill: HB183

Title: Expanding Workers’ Compensation for Permanent Disfigurement

What Does it Mean: Would increase workman’s comp from 275 wks(5years) to 400 weeks(7years)

The Bill: HB118

Title: Increase Penalties for Child Labor Violation

What Does it Mean: This Bill will double the fines.

The Go Big Small Biz Network’s Position: We oppose.  Has the current fines not been a deterrent?

The Bill: HB308

Title: The Jake Schwab Worker Safety Bill

What Does it Mean: OSHA covers the private sector this bill would cover the public sector as well.

The Go Big Small Biz Network’s Position:  We Oppose this complicated coverage from private to public.
