Speaking Out on Increasing the Minimum Wage

Go Big Small Biz Network was invited to participate in a press conference on June 28 opposing the proposed mandatory minimum wage for Pennsylvania. Jeff, joined by NFIB and several legislators, spoke to the negative impact it would have on Pennsylvania small businesses.  

He addressed the dramatic effects an increased minimum wage would create as many businesses would not be able to staff their operations efficiently.  Additionally, they would be forced to reduce the employee’s hours to meet payroll demands thus reversing the intended impact of improving an individual’s earnings. The proposal would be felt across the state’s economy in increased prices for goods and services.
